Viking Tavern was inspired by Alexey‘s concept art & '' How to train your dragon '' produced by Dreamworks. I decided in my free time to make this tavern on Blender / Zbrush / Marmoset.
Dream
Take a breath, take a time to be inspired. Building your mood board, find your references. Find your models, shader, preset that you can already use as a plan to avoid wasting time!
Structure
Starting to compose the scene, create your concept art. Be proactive and stay focus. Keep your energy when is needed!

Création
It’s time to rush, Don’t thinking too much just expand all of your energy on the main part of the Project!
BREAKDOWN
Firstly, the most important to me was to translate this 2D concept art into a perfect match 3D model. I kept the right to change small détails or model according to my storytelling. I totally changed the axe model, create a new pint of beer and refine the bear model. All of my work needed some référence. I used zbrush software for that.
